How do we check if our date is available?

Accepted Answer

Send your date through the contact form and we will confirm availability right away. Boogietek takes a limited number of weddings each year, so dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis. If your date is open we will hold it while we talk, and if it is already taken we will tell you honestly rather than overextend the team.

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer and videographer in South Florida?

Accepted Answer

Most couples book Boogietek 9 to 14 months before the wedding, though there is no wrong time to reach out. Popular Saturdays and peak season dates fill the fastest, so the earlier you reserve, the better your chances of securing your exact date. If your wedding is sooner than that, still get in touch, because openings do happen.

What do you need from us to reserve our date?

Accepted Answer

Two things reserve your date, a signed agreement and your deposit. The agreement protects both sides and lays out exactly what is included, and the deposit is what officially takes your date off the calendar for anyone else. Until both are in place, the date stays open to other inquiries.

How much is the deposit, and when is the balance due?

Reserving your date works in two simple steps. Half of the total is paid when you sign the contract, and the remaining half is due two days before the wedding. How you reach that second payment is up to you, so if you would rather break it into smaller installments along the way, that is completely fine. Those two points, half at signing and the balance two days before the day, are the only conditions on our end.

A photographer cannot operate a cinematic camera at the same time, so capturing both means two professionals working in sync. You can book photography on its own, videography on its own, or both together, and when you choose both, our teams are directed as one unit so the day still flows seamlessly.

The documentary edition is a longer edit up to twenty minutes that follows your day in sequence. The dual edition is the most complete choice and the best value, pairing the trailer with the documentary edition while adding a second crew member, a social media sneak peek, and aerial drone coverage when conditions allow.

Is drone coverage included in videography?

Aerial drone coverage is included in two of our three videography packages, the cinematic trailer and the dual edition, captured in 4K. Aerial filming does depend on the conditions of the day, and a few things can limit or pause it, such as strong wind or rain, venue rules, restricted airport zones, and airspace that is not clear and safe to fly. Boogietek flies with an FAA certified drone pilot and always follows airspace and safety regulations, so when the sky allows you get those sweeping aerial moments, and when it does not, your film is still beautifully complete from the ground.

How many photos will we receive from our wedding?

It depends on the package you choose. The Classic delivers 25 professionally edited photos per hour of coverage and The Signature delivers 50 per hour with a black and white version of each edit. Every package also includes the complete set of unedited photos in your gallery, so a six hour wedding brings roughly 150 to 300 edited images depending on your package, plus every unedited frame.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Boogietek asks for half of the total when you sign the contract and the remaining half two days before the wedding, and how you reach that second payment is flexible. If you would like to break it into smaller installments along the way, that is completely fine. We are happy to work with a schedule that fits your budget.

Should we add a second photographer to our wedding?

For most weddings a second photographer is not necessary, and Boogietek will say so honestly. One experienced photographer moves quietly and captures the day without adding to its footprint. A second photographer truly earns its place on very large weddings, high guest counts, or days with separate simultaneous events, and can be arranged as a special request with a custom quote.
